Our English and Media Studies tutors have been especially active in the creative areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bronwyn Lloyd <\/strong>participated in the Conference <em>Influence and Confluence in the Short Story: East and West<\/em> at East China Normal University, Shanghai (13-16 July, 2016). Bronwyn was part of a panel discussion on \u201cVoice in the New Zealand Short Story\u201d with fellow writers Tracey Slaughter, Jack Ross, Frankie MacMillan and Leanne Radjokovich. She was a panellist in a plenary session discussing the question, \u201cWho Owns the Text \u2013 The Writer or the Scholar?\u201d with a group of international academics and writers.
