Drawing on themes and imagery that evoked Palmerston North&#8217;s place in the First World War, the performance took out both the &#8220;Best Ensemble&#8221; and &#8220;Best Original Script and Production&#8221; awards for its skilled, colourful cast and engaging presentation.
