Custom or shared folders will not transfer across. If you have these and want to keep them, follow the steps below to export and save contents from these folders <strong>before<\/strong> 27 January:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>My Custom <em>Articles<\/em> and <em>eBooks <\/em>folders and subfolders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shared By <em>Articles<\/em> and <em>eBooks <\/em>folders and subfolders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\" start=\"1\">\n<li>Log in to Discover or EBSCOhost and click on <em>Folders<\/em> in the blue navigation bar at the top right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scrolling down to the bottom of the folders sidebar on the left, click on <em>My Custom <\/em>or <em>Shared By<\/em> to see if you have any folders set up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on a folder\u2019s name to open it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on an <em>Articles<\/em> or <em>eBooks <\/em>subfolder:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.massey.ac.nz\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2024\/11\/customsubfolders.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"328\" height=\"511\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.massey.ac.nz\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2024\/11\/customsubfolders.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.massey.ac.nz\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2024\/11\/customsubfolders.jpg 328w, https:\/\/sites.massey.ac.nz\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2024\/11\/customsubfolders-193x300.jpg 193w, https:\/\/sites.massey.ac.nz\/library\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/19\/2024\/11\/customsubfolders-100x156.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 328px) 100vw, 328px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\" start=\"5\">\n<li>Look to the right side of your screen, and click on <em>Export<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <em>Export Manager<\/em> window that opens, select <em>Download CSV<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <em>Save <\/em>button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An excel spreadsheet will download to the designated downloads folder on your computer. We suggest you rename the spreadsheet to match your custom folder\u2019s name, and save it in a safe place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat this process for all the <em>My Custom <\/em>and <em>Shared By Articles <\/em>and <em>eBooks <\/em>folders and subfolders that you want to save.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once we migrate to the new UI, you can recreate your folders structure and contents using the information in the spreadsheet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions or would like help with transferring saved items please&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:digitalservices@massey.libanswers.com?subject=New%20Discover%20question\">email us<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Discover and EBSCOhost databases are changing on 27 January.
