Brookers NZ Legal Databases has been superseded by Westlaw NZ, a new product from Thomson Reuters.<\/p>\n

At present both options are available but from the third week of January 2013, Brookers will be discontinued and only Westlaw will be available.<\/p>\n

There is no loss of content, but the \u2018look and feel\u2019 is quite different.<\/p>\n

To access Westlaw, please follow the link from the Article Databases<\/a> page on the Library homepage, or click here<\/a>. If you are off campus, you will be asked to login – use your Massey network login. After you login there, you will need to click \u201cIP users, click here to log in\u201d on the Westlaw page. Please note, the Library will not be using Client IDs.<\/p>\n

You can search by content type as shown above, or by practice area \u2013 akin to subject headings; Product Title \u2013 A-Z list of all the databases included in Westlaw NZ; or by Jurisdiction \u2013 country (New Zealand). These options are in the Browse by: drop down box.<\/p>\n

Once you have chosen an area to search you have the option of a simple or an advanced search.\u00a0 The Advanced Search link is underneath the Orange Search button.<\/p>\n
