AI tools are now included and updated regularly in our Discover library search, and in many other library databases. We list the major features on AI in article databases<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most recent AI features added to Discover<\/a> and individual EBSCO databases are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI-Assisted Search<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sits below the Discover search box, normally turned off. If you turn it on, you can enter a question or sentence, rather than the keywords we usually recommend for a topic search. Discover turns that into an advanced keyword search, giving a different set of results. It can work well for some topics, and is definitely worth a try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI Ask <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This lets you ask a PDF article for a summary, the methodology used, conclusions, or any other questions. The answers are based only on the information in the document. It appears on many but not all articles in Discover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
