Ili&#8217;s project examined the use of lemongrass nanoemulsions for the control of biofilms of <em>Bacillus cereus<\/em>. Ili has a number of manuscripts submitted for publication and will be looking for a job in her home country of Malaysia. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<!--nextpage-->\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to <strong>Srinithi Muthuraman<\/strong> passing her PhD oral examination on 22nd October 2025. He has recently completed a post doc position in Denmark working in dairy microbiology for Arla Foods. Murali&#8217;s thesis is &#8220;A study of the abiotic factors influencing the biofilm and spore formation of dairy isolates of <em>Geobacillus stearothermophilus<\/em> and characterization of spores based on their heat resistance&#8221;.
