Stream Related Teaching and Learning Event – July 15th Manawatu Campus

On July 15th a major half-day professional development event will be available to all staff on the Manawatu Campus. The event, called “Teaching with the Top Down: Adventures in Interactive Learning”, will include a keynote presentation from Professor Thomas Reeves [ http://it.coe.uga.edu/~treeves/ ] from the University of Georgia. Professor Reeves is a world-renown expert in the use of technology for teaching and learning. He has published widely in this area and was a former editor of the Journal of Interactive Learning Research. We are fortunate to attract such a high quality presenter and following the keynote, other presenters from Massey, and invited New Zealand tertiary providers, will share examples of teaching innovations related to the event theme.
