Each year, Massey University runs a day-long session for new and returning students. In 2013, these sessions are being run in Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington, and Christchurch. In addition, we’ll be running sessions online for anyone who cannot make it to a physical campus.
What do these sessions cover? We’ll be talking about distance study at Massey:
how you can prepare and plan for success;
what kinds of assignments, tests, and exams you can expect;
how to use the library and conduct your research;
support services like the Centres for Teaching and Learning.
It’s also a great chance to meet other distance students in person – you might want to set up your own study support group for the semester.
