The Lighthouse

• It is important that each paragraph has a clear point/topic, e.g. a definition of key term.
• Every paragraph should have a clear point/topic sentence that lets the reader know what the point/topic of the paragraph is.
• Body paragraphs should be where you put the details, evidence, examples and illustrations.
• As a rough guide paragraphs should be at least 3 sentences or 150-250 words.
