Update 2021

This has been the most successful year for our team with 6 PhD students completing one waiting for her exam and another handing in her thesis by the end of the year.

Congratulations to you all for your achievements this year. This has been a record year for publications for our group. We thought last year was good but this year has been even better.

Several of our recent graduates have landed some great Post Doc positions

  • Dong Zhang in The University of Guelph, Canada
  • Amilia Nawarathna, Arla Foods, Denmark
  • Murali Kumar, University of Limerick, Ireland

One of our graduates Emmanuel Kyere was able to attend graduation this year. Emmanuel is now with his family in Chicago and has applied for a Post Doc position at Michigan State University. We wish him all the best for the future.

Emmanuel at Graduation 2021

Looking forward to 2022, we have funding applications to continue with Emmanuel’s work and to extend some of our work on EPS. We expect to be able to take on some more international students and there is the possibility of two NZ students joining the team. Watch this space.

Everyone deserves a good holiday and we look forward to working with you in 2022.
