Relocation of Hokowhitu Library Collections

November 5, 2012

Hokowhitu Library, which holds much of the education collection,  is merging with the Turitea Library on the main campus.

Here’s an update with some important points about the relocation:

  • Hokowhitu Library doors close on 14 November. We suggest you borrow the material you require for the summer semester before this date, if possible.
  • You may borrow in person from Turitea library or, if you are a Distance student, request in the usual way.
  • The Children’s collection is being relocated as is to a space on the ground floor of the Turitea Library and the rest of the books and journals will be added to the Turitea collections.
  • Material transferred will be in transit and there may be short delays before it is available on the open shelves at Turitea during the relocation process.
  • If you are returning items in person, you may return them to Hokowhitu Library until 7 December 2012. After that date, items should be returned to the Turitea Library.

If you have any queries please get in touch with Liz Chisholm, Hokowhitu Librarian.
