Library Out Loud

Update 07/02/13: Google Scholar is now displaying MasseyLink correctly, and connecting to our subscribed material as it should. A few points to note:

• the MasseyLink button may be hidden under ‘more’ in each result
• if you are on campus, linking to Massey Library will work automatically
• if you are off campus, to enable the linking you will need to either go via the Library website (e.g. the article databases page), or in Google Scholar go to Settings then Library Links and type in Massey University Library

05/02/13: Sorry, Google Scholar is currently not displaying MasseyLink. You can still search in it, but you won’t be able to see easily which items we have available through Massey Library. We’re working on fixing this as soon as possible, but it might be a few days.

Other options?

• Use Discover on the Library home page for topic searches.
• Use Web of Science or Scopus (available on the article databases page) to see times cited, etc.
• Continue to use Google Scholar for topic and citation searching, but look up the article titles in Discover, or journal titles in the Library Catalogue, to see if they are available through Massey Library.
