      Hi Angus

Excellent! You can sign up by sending an email to library@massey. The class itself is held online, so we send you the link to the meeting room, and a place to check that the software will work with your computer. The class is like a lecture (we use a mixture of powerpoint and demonstrating the software). You’ll need headphones and broadband internet access. If students want to ask a question there is a chat box, and we have one person who is monitoring that all the time.
The content is the basics of using EndNote – entering references and exporting them from databases, checking them, attaching PDFs, and using EndNote with Word (Cite while you write) to format your in-text citations and reference list correctly. You don’t need to have EndNote already to take the class. The classes aren’t recorded, so they are not available later, but we send a follow up email to all registrants.
I hope that answers your questions, if not comment again or email library@massey.
      cheers

      Katherine Chisholm
