Workshop on ‘Knowledge Discovery: You and Your Research Community’

The second of the four Knowledge Management in Research (KMIR) workshops for staff and postgraduate students focuses on ‘Knowledge Discovery:  You and Your Research Community’.

Purpose of this module:
To help participants recognise the centrality of research networks to knowledge dissemination and critique.

Learning objectives:

  • learn effective ways to monitor knowledge debate and development
  • be alerted to emerging academic social media and their potential uses
  • be aware of the importance of your research identity

Take a look at the learning objectives for each of the four workshops and enrol online.  Please note, you can attend all four workshops in the series, or just those that interest you most.Bookings are essential for all four modules. Turitea is now fully booked for November, and taking names for future sessions, dates to be advised. Albany and Wellington still have spaces available for the November/December sessions.
