Opposing Viewpoints is back

January 7, 2014

The Opposing Viewpoints in Context database, which some of you may recall we had access to in the past, is now back.

It can be a great place to start for undergraduates looking for a range of material on topical issues – though note that it is very focussed on the United States.

Opposing Viewpoints in Context features information and opinions on the world’s most pertinent social issues. This database features editorial articles; topic overviews; full text magazine, academic journal, and newspaper articles; and primary source documents, as well as statistics, images, and podcasts. Content is sorted according to level of difficulty (basic, intermediate, advanced), and there is a linked list of popular topics listed on the database home page.
