Workshop on Make Your Research Count: Publishing

The third of the four Knowledge Management in Research (KMIR) workshops for staff and postgraduate students focuses on ‘Make Your Research Count: Publishing’.

Purpose of this module:
To give participants an understanding of the academic publishing environment and the skills to optimise the impact of their research publications.

Learning objectives:

  • develop understanding of the research assessment environment and Massey University’s research strategy
  • gain an understanding of where best to publish
  • develop a personal publication strategy
  • develop strategies for enhancing a potential publication for discovery and citation
