Library Out Loud

Manawatū Library invites Massey researchers to an author workshop presented by staff of the publisher Elsevier, on Thursday 28 August, 1.00-3.30 pm.

The aim of the workshop is to advise researchers on how they can prepare and gain a better understanding of the process and basic knowledge of having their article published in a scientific journal. The workshop will be of interest to both established and early career researchers, and will be delivered by Dr Anders Karlsson, Director of Academic Relations for the Asia Pacific region.

Following the author workshop will be a training session on using ScienceDirect.

The programme outline is:

• 1.00 – 2.30pm: Author Workshop
• 2.30 – 2.45pm: Refreshment/Break
• 2.45 – 3.30pm: ScienceDirect Training
