PANZ – Population Association NZ – Conference Call For Papers

PANZ is a professional association that incorporates a wide range of interests in relation to the study and understanding of population issues, in New Zealand and globally. The PANZ conference is the flagship forum for population research in Aotearoa and brings together a wide range of population professionals in academia, government, communities and the private sector. This year’s PANZ conference, ‘Changing societies: Measuring people and places in transition’ is to be held at Rydges Latimer, Christchurch on the 24th and 25th July 2017.

We are now seeking contributions on a wide range of population issues including:

  • migration & regional dynamics
  • spatial statistics
  • diversity
  • population ageing
  • health and wellbeing
  • Māori and indigenous demography
  • demographic methods
  • families, whānau and households
  • labour markets and education

Please find attached the call for papers for New Zealand’s Population Conference. The deadline for submissions is Friday, 14th April.
