We had a number of comments in our Insync satisfaction survey last year about databases timing out too quickly. A check of our Discover database earlier this year ensured that the timeout was reset to 2 hours. However there may be issues with other databases we provide having different time-out periods. The time-out periods serve an essential purpose. Holding open currently inactive user sessions takes up system memory, and in systems with thousands of users this memory usage can add up to a significant load on the servers.
